Hiring for Gojek: A Case Study
Gojek is Indonesia's first Decacorn, and they are the operating system of southeast Asia. Gojek's superapp quite literally powers emerging market economies.
Our mandate was to make two critical international executive hires - both of whom would have to relocate to Jakarta for the job - no small task. Our mission was a success: we recruited their Chief Data Officer in 2019, and followed that up by recruiting their Chief Product Officer in 2020. We also hired a couple of seriously talented engineers along the way.
